IT support for charities and non-profits

Small teams, volunteers on their own laptops and a supporter database that has to stay private. We take care of the technology so your people can focus on the cause, across London, the UK and the EU.

Where IT gets difficult for charities

Most charities run lean, and technology often falls to whoever is most confident with computers. These are the usual pressure points.

Volunteers and part-time staff

People join, leave and work from home on their own devices. Access should be quick to grant on day one and just as quick to remove.

Supporter and beneficiary data

Donor records and case notes are personal data under UK GDPR. Trustees and funders want to know what protects them.

No IT department

When nobody is employed to look after IT, small problems wait and grow. Updates get missed and backups go untested.

Shops, venues and events

Charity shops, community venues and one-off events all need a dependable connection, including for card payments.

One team behind every location

Whether it is a head office, a row of shops or a volunteer at their kitchen table, everything connects back to a managed, monitored core.

Questions from charities

What CEOs, finance managers and trustees ask us most.

Can you support volunteers using their own devices?

Yes. We can give volunteers access through a secure virtual desktop or a protected Microsoft 365 account, so charity data stays in your environment instead of on a personal laptop. When someone leaves, their access is switched off in one place.

We have no IT staff. What can you take on?

That is the usual starting point for a managed plan. We act as your IT department, with a helpdesk, monitoring, patching and security, and scope it to the size of your organisation. The pricing page explains the options.

How do you protect donor and beneficiary data?

With layered controls: multi-factor authentication, email filtering, tested backups and access limited to the people who need it. Foxcomm is ISO 27001 accredited, and we are happy to work with your trustees or data protection lead on what they need to see.

Do you offer charity pricing?

Our services are typically charged per user, per month, so costs grow with your team. Book a free consultation and we will explain the options, including Microsoft licensing for non-profits where you qualify.

Can you support charity shops and events?

Yes. We can provide dependable connections and card payment networking for shops, venues and one-off events, with support available 24/7.
