Hospitality

IT support for hotels, restaurants and multi-site hospitality

Guests expect Wi-Fi that connects first time, tills that never drop out and staff who can log in before the first service. We keep every venue connected, segmented and supported, whether you run one site or many.

The day-to-day

Where IT hurts hospitality

Hospitality runs on technology that guests can see and technology they cannot. When either fails, it shows straight away.

Payment lines that drop

When a card terminal loses its connection, the queue builds at the till. Payment traffic needs its own reliable, protected path.

Guests and staff on one network

Guest Wi-Fi sharing a network with back-of-house systems is a security risk and a performance problem. They belong on separate segments.

Many venues, one standard

Every site has its own layout and quirks, yet the equipment, monitoring and support should be consistent from one to the next.

Trouble at peak times

Faults tend to arrive on a Saturday night or a bank holiday. Support has to be there when the venue is open, not only in office hours.

What we do

How Foxcomm helps

From a single bar to a group of hotels, we can run the whole estate or fill the gaps in your own team.

The big picture

Guests on one side, systems on the other

A well-built hospitality network keeps guest traffic, payments and back-of-house systems on separate paths, all watched from one place.

Standards

Standards we work to

We design networks that keep card payments separate from everything else, which is a core PCI DSS expectation. Your payment provider remains the right source for your formal requirements.

Questions

Common questions

Can you look after IT across several venues?

Yes. The Hoxton and Cafe Rouge both run multi-site estates with us. We standardise equipment and monitoring so each site behaves the same way, and one helpdesk covers them all.

Why does guest Wi-Fi need to be separate from our systems?

Guest devices are unmanaged, so they should never share a network with tills, stock systems or staff laptops. Segmentation keeps guests online without exposing anything else, and stops heavy guest use from slowing payments.

What happens if a site has a fault at the weekend?

Our support runs 24/7 and includes emergency call-out for connectivity and hardware faults, with a guaranteed 15-minute response time.
